Guess what! I'm back!
We got rid of a lot of junk at our two-day garage sale in spite of cold, damp weather which was really disappointing as the TV had been predicting a warm, sunny weekend for days! Boy, did they ever miss it!
Thank the Lord a young couple dropped by and helped us carry everything outside and also bring it back in. A few things are still sitting on the davenport and we manage to put it away a little at a time! Of course Tipopy managed to slip outside a couple of times, and we had to chase after him! It's sure no fun getting old! As I just told someone else, "Old age isn't for sissies!"
Hopefully I'll get back to blogging devotionals this evening. We've not only been resting up this week from the tiring garage sale, but Monday Rex had a couple cortisone shots for a pinched nerve in his spine. (I get a couple more next Monday!) I also finished the bimonthly newsletter we publish for our church seniors! Yesterday we both had dental appointments, and then I had to pick up my new glasses -- two pairs this time, one for the computer and one for regular use. This morning I had devotions for the local nursing home where we volunteer, and this afternoon I see my podiatrist. Then tomorrow we take Tippy to the vet for his anuual checkup! And somehow I've got to find time to do a couple loads of laundry. We wonder how we ever accomplished such things when we were working full time!
