My husband and I were reading F.F. Bosworth's book, "Christ the Healer." He has some fantastic truths if we can learn to grasp them. Let me quote one paragraph.
"(B)y simply believing that our prayer is heard, before we have yet experienced the answer, as Jesus commanded in Mark 11:24, and following this with the observance of Hebrews 10:35, 36, we can ALWAYS bring to pass the fulfillment of any Divine promise. It is God's will for every Christian to successfully practice Hebrews 6:11, 12."
And here are the Scriptures he referred to in that paragraph. Mark 11:24: Whatever things ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Hebrews 10:35, 36: Cast not away, therefore, your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
And Hebrews 6:11, 12: (S)how the same diligence of the full assurance of hope unto the end; that ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Put these three Scriptures together, meditate on them, believe them, have patience while waiting for the answer and then thank God for your answer even before you see it!
