Waiting in line for a red traffic signal to change to green, a friend of mine noticed a bumper sticker on the car in front of him that read, "Honk If You Love Jesus." I'm sure you've seen the same bumper sticker many times. So Lee did just that -- he honked his horn.
The kid driving the car with the bumper sticker stuck his head out the window and yelled, "Shut up. I've got a red light."
Lee simply smiled and pointed to the bumper sticker.
We can laugh at the incident and surmise that the kid was probably driving his parents' car and had nothing to do with the bumper sticker.
But there's a serious side to the humorous scene. Let's make it personal. What if we "wore" a bumper sticker on our foreheads for all the world to see that read "I'm a Christian?"
Would our actions line up with our testimony?
A short devotional, I know. But an idea we should seriously ponder and maybe even pray about!
